Caramel Apple Martini
This is an oldie but goodie… The caramel apple martini is back for the fall! I make this every year. It’s the perfect fall cocktail. You can serve it strait up, like a martini, or over rocks. You can add ingredients, or take them away, but I think this simple recipe is the best! Let’s get started!
The Ingredients:
Start with your favorite apple cider. Mine is from a farm stand in NH. It really makes the drink if you can get fresh cider. The two spirits I use are Caramel Vodka, and *Bourbon. I like to use Four Roses bourbon for this because it has a smoothness that goes well with the cider.
*You don’t need to use bourbon at all if you’re not a fan, it just cuts the sweetness. It is a VERY sweet drink otherwise.
I have a big shaker as I like to make more then one drink at a time. As such, the shot glass is double as well so that’s how I measure everything.
-Recipe for 1 Drink:
1 shot of Caramel Vodka
1 shot of Bourbon
4oz (or to taste) Apple Cider
I fill my shaker with ice and add the vodka and bourbon. I like to let them sit and get really cold. I usually will then put a couple of martini glasses in the freezer.
Then I add the cider..as much or as little as you like. Shake it really good and let it sit again.
Either serve strait up or or pour the drink with the ice into glasses.
*Garnish with apples or cinnamon sticks
I made an IGTV making this fun cocktail. Go check it out for the step-by-step! As always, if you have any questions or comments, leave them in the box below! Cheers!
