Mascara & Primer Roundup (part 1)

Last week I said goodbye to my lash extensions (at least for a while). There were a few mascaras and magnetic lashes that I have been getting questions about and I really want to do some reviews for you guys! I chose 5 mascaras, 1 primer, and 2 magnetic lashes (Part 2) to start with…Let’s get started!

I have a highlight saved on Instagram of my review if you want to check that out!

Let’s start with my 2 favorites…

#1 CHANEL

The LE VOLUME DE CHANEL Mascara is the most expensive BUT worth it, IMO. It isn’t clumpy and separates allll the lashes. Also, when I say “expensive”, it’s only a few dollars more then others at $32. Also comes in waterproof.

#2 LANCÔME

The Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara is also amazing. Because I just removed my lash extensions after having them for quite some time, my natural lashes are on the shorter side. This mascara (along with the primer) gives amazing length that I didn’t know I had! $26

Speaking of PRIMER… The Cils Booster XL Vitamin-Infused Mascara Primer by Lancôme is the best. I highly recommend using a primer before mascara. It seperates each lash and give the mascara some grip to lengthen the natural lash. This one is $27 and worth every penny IMO.

The next 2 are great for different reasons and then there’s 1 I DO NOT recommend. Tarte Maneater Mascara is great for a dramatic look. It goes on a little bit thicker and gives a darker look. The Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced is your go-to for going out! It gives fullness and length. A very dramatic look!

Ok, I don’t like to do this but I feel like an honest review is necessary. The Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara was a Tik Tok sensation. One teenager posted it and all the other teenagers in the world needed it. It was nearly impossible to find! I did manage to find 2 for my girls and at first use they were like, this is awful. It went on clumpy and they never used it again. I did try it, and it was rubbing off on my eye lids. I did link it for you because, to each their own…if you want to try it. It is very affordable at only $8. Maybe that’s where the saying “you get what you pay for” comes in?

A tip that I share often is about mini products. No one talks about the mini, or travel, size products! They are such a good money saver for products you want to try. Almost all products come in mini. I linked the ones I could for the ones I tried…

This is the first batch of mascara reviews I have... I have so many more suggestions I’m adding to the list. Stay tuned for part 2 for the review of magnetic lashes! If you have a favorite mascara/primer, or one you want to see me try, leave it in the box below! I’m happy to try them all! Cheers Babes!
