Saving Money on Makeup
Who likes makeup? Who wants to save money? Good makeup, and I mean GOOD makeup, can be costly. My tip..check out the Benefit Mini end cap at Ulta. Intrigued?? Have you seen it before? It’s a great way to try something new. Also, did you know makeup have an expiration date? Lots of questions to answer..Let’s get started!

Let’s start with cost… For example, the full size version of the Hoola Matte Bronzer is $30. The mini version is only $17. Now obviously, the mini is smaller BUT I have had the mini for almost a year now. I wear it almost every day and I’m nowhere near finishing it!
Here’s where the expiration date comes into play… cosmetic expiration dates range from 6mo to 24mo. In this case, the bronzer is 12mo. So my question is, why bother buying the bigger version if I haven’t used the smaller (less expensive) one yet and I’m coming up on 12mo?
Mini’s are also a great way to try something you’ve had your eye on. The mascara’s are a great size to test out for a month or so to see if you want to commit.
*Travel tip: I get all my favorite Benefit mini’s and make up a travel kit. Saves a lot of space and time if you keep one made up. Great for weekend getaways!
I hope this helps you to save some money, while maybe trying something new?! I have tried most of these so if you have any questions on any of the products, or comments, leave them in the box below. Happy shopping babes!
