What To Wear on Vacation
Well, Disney World is a fun but exhausting place. We just got back from a 9 day trip and it was a hot one. It also rained a lot which made outfits somewhat difficult to choose; especially in the shoe department. Read on to see all I brought/chose for our time. I will also tell you what worked/didn’t work and what I’m glad I brought!
I brought multiple outfits and shoe choices and I’m glad! The weather went from hot to cool to rain in one day! We went to 4 parks and went back to the magic kingdom for 5 park days total. Let’s get started!
As soon as we got to the resort we all changed and went to the pool. It was so nice to get out of NH and into some sunshine! Even though it is June, NH is starting to feel like Seattle?! I wore this cute swimsuit from Old Navy that was on clearance for $7! My shorts are currently on clearance and the Kimono are both from American Eagle. Flip flops are Haviaianas and bag is Dooney and Bourke. Hat from Nordstrom. My sunnies are from my Amazon finds blog and my initial necklace is from The Pink Lily Boutique.
For dinner one night I wore the best Amazon find maxi dress (also in my amazon post). It comes in many colors and is super comfortable. It is stretchy in all the right places. The slides are STEVEN by steve madden, and the sunnies are J. Crew Factory. Hair clip from Amazon finds.
This cute outfit was perfect for the Magic Kingdom and the sneakers were great for all the walking we did. I knew with our Fast Passes we would be doing a lot of back and forth through the park. This tough as a mother tee is from a boutique in Portsmouth. The shorts are J. Crew, belt is a Gucci dupe/Amazon Find and the sneakers are Golden Goose. Necklace from VICI, sunnies are Quay, and my backpack is from my backpack post!
Day off from the parks called for cool and casual. This entire outfit is from American Eagle and is linked in that blog post as well. The tank is a pretty pink color and the denim shorts have an elastic waist. This kimono is gorgeous and I use kimonos for both outfits and swim suit cover ups. My Louis Vuitton came with my Neverfull Purse. Sunnies from Red Dress, necklace from VICI.
Pool days call for cute suits, hats, and kimonos! We had a day off so we headed to the pool after breakfast. This is hands down the best suit. It’s an Amazon find. I have it in 2 colors, have a blog post on them, and I’m sure to be ordering more. This kimono I use for swim cover up and outfits. Found these leopard sandals on sale at PacSun for $14! Hat from Nordstrom. Tortoise earrings from H&M. Dooney and Bourke bag. Quay sunnies complete the look.
Classic photos for Disney at the Magic Kingdom. Our last park day, we went back to the Magic Kingdom and had SO much fun! I wore these cute American Eagle shorts with lace detail at the pockets. Gucci dupe belt, disney parks tee, and steve madden slides. It was our second day there so sneakers weren’t needed as we didn’t stay as long.
Casual morning coffee on the terrace. BRUNETTE the Label sweatshirt paired with the best ALO leggings with POCKETS. And of ourse my new Ariel mug…
Hands down best travel outfit. Jumpsuit from Amazon finds, sweater from Denim Rack Boutique, Calpak luggage, and Havaianas.
So that’s what I wore. If you can believe it, I brought more that I didn’t wear?! Ha ha. I’ll save that for another post! My advice is bring a raincoat. I’m glad I did! Florida is unpredictable and you don’t want one of those awful plastic ponchos! As always, if you have any questions on any piece or just a comment, feel free to leave it below! I love to hear from you!
